Academy Spine and Physical Therapy                                                             June 2014 – Present

Rehabilitation Technician/Physical Therapist Aide

  • Apply patients to heat, electrical stimulation, cold laser therapy, cervical and lumbar traction, and ice

  • Learned to read X-Ray, and MRI readings for particular patients (during observation)

  • Teach and supervise patients’ their assigned rehab exercise programs; including proper gait patterns

  • Take patients blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation

  • Assist in performing forearm strength tests on patients using a dynamometer

  • Assist in performing Cervical and Lumbar Range of Motion Examinations using inclinometers
