Barbell Bench Press (flat)

      To the left, is a video of the barbell bench press from bodybuilding.com.  A few key tips to help you with your form: First, when first unracking the bar, hold the bar in the upward position for 1-2 seconds.  This is called preloading and will help you produce more force when you lift! 2nd, when lowering the bar, lower the bar in a path in line with your nipples. 3rd, When lowering the bar, just lowering the bar until the upper arms are parallel to the floor is sufficient!
