ABOUT ME
In 2014 I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies, concentrating in applied Kinesiology. Currently, I am studying for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, Miami. I obtain the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach certification (USAW) through USA Weightlifting. With a dense background in health and fitness, I have been able to aide in the achievement of goals of many clients and patients. Outside of health and fitness, I have over 4,000 hours of experience working as a rehabilitation technician/physical therapist aide. Here I worked alongside physical therapists in the rehabilitation of a variety of patients. Having valuable insight in biomechanics and exercise physiology, I have been able to assist physical therapists in prescription of exercise during the remodeling phase of the rehabilitation process. Through my work and education, I continue to strive to make a difference in the fields of wellness and fitness and ultimately in the field of physical therapy. Upon graduation from my Doctor of Physical Therapy program, I will continue my mission to positively impact society by promoting healthy living, prevention of injury through exercise, and physical rehabilitation using evidenced based practice.
