In April 2019 I graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences – Miami. As a recent alumnus, I move forward with an extremely diverse clinical experience having mentors in all different facets of our field, which has molded me into a well-rounded, entry-level clinician. My interests lie predominantly in sports and orthopedics, where I have the greatest amount of clinical experience, advanced course training, and certifications. In my most recent clinical practicum, I worked in professional sports rehab at Force Physical Therapy, having treated professional football athletes of various positions on over 25 NFL teams. I currently continue to work for Force as a part-time staff member while studying for the National Physical Therapy Examination this July. Following licensure, I will be pursuing a full time position in sports physical therapy. I will implement my strengths into practice by utilizing my high-level clinical reasoning, advanced manual therapy skills and forward-thinking exercise prescription to properly bridge the gap between rehabilitation and sports performance. In doing so, athletes will return to play safely and as better versions of themselves by minimizing risk for reinjury. I will provide paramount care to the general orthopedic population through evidence-based practice and a large emphasis on patient education. Utilizing such principles, my goal is to optimize patients’ movement and exceed their prior level of functioning when possible.
